Does Ear Infection Cause Headache In An Elderly Person?
hello, my father is 74 years old, in the hospital with a septic infection. My question is he has been complaining about having a headache for a couple of weeks. they have done an m.r.i. on his head. But said they don t see anything. my question is can an ear infection cause his headaches. nobody has checked his ears. thank you, rick

Yes it may cause headache.
For that you may require antibiotics ear drops after ENT consultation
For headache you can take tablet acetaminophen
