Does Egg Implantation On The Ovary Cause Ectopic Pregnancy?
I had a hysterectomy in 2007. My uterus and cervix was removed but my ovaries and tubes were left due to my age 23 at The time. The other night I went to the we with lower abdominal pain and the Dr thought my ovary might have been getting ready to rupture but they found what they thought was a lesion and they sent me to a specialist. The specialist said that he didn t not think it was a lesion and he said that it is an egg that implanted on the ovary. He wants me to come back in 6 weeks to see if my body has taken care of it. Is this an ectopic pregnancy and if so do I have to have an abortion

I really appreciate your concern, it might not be pregnancy but ovarian lesion could be due to ovum too and it is likely to happen over all exploration is the only way to know it either it is abdominal or through scope but it need to be get done, lesion could be malignant or benign, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
