Does Elevated Absolute Eosinophil In Blood Cause Wheezing?

Hello Dr. My daughter is 15 mnths old and we took blood test to check her lead content on doctors advice. The report shows LEAD BLOOD as 6H mcg/dl & ABSOLUTE EOSINOPHILS was 738 H ( Range provided on the report between 15-700 Cells/uL ) . Is this a normal behaviour in this age for ABSOLUTE EOSINOPHILS and will this become regular while growing ? Ï äm afraid if this ABSOLUTE EOSINOPHILS would cause Wheezing or Asthma or any other secondary diseases. Please help me clarifying my query.

It is not increase in absolute eosinophils causes wheezing. It is wheezing is associated with increased eosinophil count. Looking at the report, it is increased above normal limit. It is also a risk for diseases like asthama.
Hence you need to contact a physician or pulmonologist for appropriate treatment of the underlying disorder.
