Does Elevated Heart Rate Require Immediate Medical Attention?
My son is 25 great physical health however he recently got a fitbit and noticed is resting heart rate was between 105 and 125. So he finally consulted a physician and got an ekg and blood study. The Dr just called and said he ekg indicated that his right side heart was not fuctioning properly and his liver funtion test was high. I believe 1.6 He want blood tests repeated and an additionalheart test done then come back next week. Im wondering if what does all this mean and should I try to find a cardiologist or seek more immediate treatment? Thanks for your help
hello, you should definitely get a cardiologist opinion based on what you said. Cardiologist may suggest an Echo cardiogram (Echo) to look into detail of heart functioning and give more appropriate diagnosis.
