Does Elevated Liver Enzyme In Blood Cause Dull Headache?
on one of my last blood tests, it showed that my liver enzymes were elevated so I stopped drinking alcohol (previously I had 2 glasses of wine with dinner). The last blood test did in fact show that the numbers were decreasing. I have been experiencing slight headaches and some tingling in my body. Is this in any way connected to the elevated enzymes?
Elevated liver enzymes is not related to headache. Your headache may be due to the following: 1) Tension headache 2) Migraine headache 3) Cluster headache 4) Headache due to sinusitis 5) Headache due to nasal septum deviation
To those who come to my clinic with similar symptoms, I advise the following: 1) Take tab. Acetaminophen twice daily for pain relief 2) If your pain doesn't subside with above medication, you may take tab. Aspirin once daily for 3 days. 3) Have adequate sleep of 8 hrs daily. 4) Daily physical exercise for 45 min a day for at least 5 days a week. 5) Avoid stress 6) Try meditation for 5 min daily.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
