General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear user,

I really understand your concern.

Enlarged prostate doesn't shrink with or without treatment.

In the early stage, symptoms and signs due to prostate enlargement are controlled by some drugs and diet.

Based on your age and enlarged prostate, you have a higher risk for cancer of prostate, so surgery is the best option for you, if there aren't contraindications for it.

All the best!
