Does Enlarged Spleen Cause Diarrhea And High Platelet Count?
I ve had diarhhea with nausea for 4 days now with stomach pain. Blood tests came back a week ago for high platelet count. An ultra sound of my abdomen was done a few days ago but I haven t heard anything yet. Could an enlarged spleen possibly be causing the diarhhea?

The enlarged spleen is not the cause for the high platelet count or diarrhoea.
It is most likely to be infective viral diarrhoea.
In case it persists beyond a week you will need further investigation
