Suggest Treatment For Liver Cirrhosis And Splenomegaly
Hi My uncle has got enlarged spleen of 20 cm with liver cherosis. He is also dibetic. He has also got severe esophegal varices with platelet count of ranging only to 25k. Doctors said there is no treatment of liver cherosis; and enlarged spleen is due to liver dysfunction. They also said platelet count can t be increased tgrough medication as liver is not functioning properly and spleen will absorb all the platelets from the blood. He got prescribed with basically two major tab. Cilacar and Ciplar. Both 10mg. He is also taking one dibetis tablet. Please help me to understand how serious is the situation. Is there really no conventional treatment for liver cherosis and enlarged spleen. Please advise.
