Does Excessive Walking Cause Throbbing And Sharp Pain In Foot And Toes?
shooting pain on top of foot beginning at base of toes into toes and also from base of toes up -towards ankle along top of foot from big toe. sharp sudden shooting pain. throbbing pain at base of toes.have job that involves 15 -20 kms walking per 10 hour shift.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like foot ulcers , sores , nerve damage in the feet , clogged or hardened arteries, corns , neuropathy , calluses or plantar fasciitis. I would suggest you to consult podiatrist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI along with physicaal examination . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also recommend orthotics for plantar fasciitis. For now avoid standing for long time , keep your foot in hot water tub with espom salt and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
