Does Exile Syrup Cause Side Effects?
hello doctor My question is My mom is using exil cough expectorant from past 10 years for wheezing purpose.she is having diabetes from past 6 months and she s taking metride-1 from past 1 month.i just wanna know if thr r any side effects of exil syrup or in sugar tablets.Because from past 6 months she is feeling exhausted,very tired n once in two months she is having diarrhea.hope u ll answer my question. thank you

Yes, intake of medicine for long term may cause side effects. It may cause drowsiness, dry eyes and mouth. Gastritis, elevation of blood sugar levels, burning micturition and high colour urine. Loose stools also one of the side effect of this medicine. It is better to stop this medication. Use Sporulac sachets one in half glass of water thrice a day for three days. If there is still no improvement, please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
