Does Exposure To Cement Cause Nausea And Heart Burn?

Hi. I am a 51 year old female, and a trained sculptor & welder. I create cement forms and then weld steel around them to achieve the perfect shape in steel. The cement form gets very hot under the flame of the oxy-acetylene torch and gives off a bad odor. After long day sculpting, I feel nauseous & experience heartburn. I am wondering if the fumes from heating up the cement are harmful to my health.

Hi,

Yes, it might be harmful but to detect better if you have toxins in your blood you should discuss with your doctor for this and he will probably order some blood tests for you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jnikolla,
