Does Exposure To Mold Cause Any Lung Problems?

I had bacterial pneumonia in November, two weeks before Thanksgiving. Two days ago, my roommate and I discovered mold in both of our window sills. I sleep pretty close to the window and have been wheezing just slightly whenever in my room. At first I thought it was an allergic reaction to my blanket (certain synthetic materials bother me), but since yesterday, my chest has been feeling heavy and I have the urge to cough. My roommate asked the maintenance people to clean the mold off, and I can no longer see any mold. Is it safe to sleep there? And are there any medical risks I should be aware of with my lungs, given that I had pneumonia a few months ago?
