Does Exposure To Mould Cause Rise In Blood Pressure?

Hi, I have never before had elevated blood pressure, but now I do for at least two months with no other symptoms. I wondered since I recently, two months or so, had exposure to mold in my apartment while waiting for repairs, which took five weeks, could be to blame. I have had several sinus like headaches during this time. There is much mold in my apartment building, most of it within the walls. I had not had my blood pressure checked for many months before this time, but in January it was 117.

Dear Friend, greetings from HCM. I don't think you can blame moulds your high BP. It could be essential hypertension. Moulds can cause allergic reactions . could be your sinusitis is due to allergic reaction to moulds . what ever is the reason better to avoid close contact with it.
You better recheck your BP with your physician . if it is too high need s treatment you can take.
Do contact us for more questions. THANK YOU
