Does Exposure To Radiation During A CT-scan Have An Effect On Ovulation?

Hi, I had a CT scan of my abdomen due to possible kidney problems and during the scan they found a cyst on my overy that wasn't concerning just due to my upcoming period and ovulation. My husband and I are trying to concieve. We are wondering if the amount of radiation and CT scan has an effect on ovulation and we won't be able to concieve this month.

I have gone through your question and I understand your concern. Though the radiation due to CT Scan doesn't cause any problem with ovulation however, it is not recommended to undergo CT Scan if the patient has already conceived.
