Does Eyesight Power Stabilize After A Certain Age ?
Hi! I m a 26yr old. I wanted to know if the eyesight power stabilizes after a certain age or does it keep increasing? If it stabilizes then how does it happen? If it increases then under what circumstances?

firstly, your power is quite likely to have stabilised by now and is not expected to increase any further.
you are eligible for lasik surgery and if you get it done at a good centre you will not need glasses.however you may need to put lubricant drops after lasik for some time.
Another thing to be kept in mind is if you get lasik done you will need glasses for reading and near work around the age of 40.

1.simple myopia stabilises by 18-20 yrs( during growing period) normally
2. degenerative (progressive )myopia generally keeps on increasing
3.hypermetropia manifests more in middle age and later.
4.presbyopia(need for glasses for near work and reading) is normally around 40 yrs. of age
