Does Faint Line On The Pregnancy Test Strip Mean Pregnancy?
Hi Doctor, I have done a home pregnancy test now. Result shows a very light line in kit. Does this mean I'm pregnant or suggestions please. I can wait and retest but we have planned for a long travel to native for festival tomorrow. So we wanted to know this as early as possible so we can plan to cancel the trip if it is positive.

A faint line on pregnancy test could mean you are pregnant. This is normally due to very less HCG hormone in urine, this is common in early pregnancy. However false positive (wrong positive test) chances are also high in case of faint line.
You should do a repeat test by using first urine sample of morning to confirm the pregnancy. Alternatively you could do a blood pregnancy test anytime.
