Does Fasting Prior To An Abdominal Ultrasound A Necessity?
Hi my doctor thinks that I may have an ulcer. She has ordered an abdominal ultrasound & put me on sucralfate. Why do I have to fast for the ultrasound & are there any different medications to help treat & heal the ulcer? I am having a hard time swallowing the sucralfate because of its chalky taste. I am also on Nexium & have been on that since March. Thank You!!!
