Does Febrile Seizures Result In Epilepsy?

my 3 years son got feveral seizure once this year with viral infections. After that i observed that every 15 to 20 days later he is suffering from fever with same way.During fever i give him frisium with pcm and ibruphen as i consulted with doc..But during this period my sons activity increased,some jerking occure with few seconds in his whole body while he sleeps,he moves his finger both legs and hand which i seems some abnormal way.my question, is he developed any neurological problem or epilepsy ?if it will happen what medication should be applicable for my son?

I think if you are having frequent episodes of fever with seizures then you should go for an EEG. Usually febrile seizures do not result in epilepsy. Also if your doctor says he has normal neurological examination then the chances that he may have a neurological problem is less.
