hi i m epileptic person suffering frm last 11 years in middle i all right then again it start i hav baby 3 yr she is normal n gud n i take epilex chrono 300 mg morning n night n sumtimes frisium . did it hav side effectss.. actually now we r planning for second baby but i sacred coz last time fit cum on 29 sep 2011 wht do i do know my doctor name is bharti bansal agra but i want new doctor

Hi,

Eplilex Chrono contains both sodium valproate and valproic acid is an anticonvulsant that is used to treat all types of epilepsies, a brain disorder characterized by uncontrolled jerking movements and loss of consciousness. Side effects of Epilex Chrono are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, weight gain, body pain, sneezing, dry or scaly skin, urinary incontinence, loss of appetite, gum swelling, sleepiness, tremor, hair loss, fainting, allergic reactions etc. As soon as you become confirm about your pregnancy, inform your prescribing doctor. He may stop the medication as it has harmful effects on fetus.
