Does Findings Of "Low FT3 Noted" In Urine Culture Test Indicate Thyroid Problems?
Hi Doc. Recently i performed urine culture test and the results were as follows: Gentamicin S+++ Noroxin S+++ Nitrofuratoin S+++ Celor S+++ Nalidixic Acid R Augumentin S+++ Zinnat R Minocycline S+++
Kindly interpret for me which drug i should take.I was previously on Augumentin 625mg.
I also perfomed a thyroid function test. What does this mean? Free T3 2.39pg/ml Free T4 0.74 ng/ml TSH 0.71 uiu/ml Comments: Low FT3 noted. Does it mean i have thyroid? Please advise. Thank you.
Your free T4 is slightly low. Your TSH is normal. So if you don't take any drugs for thyroid and no history of thyroid disease then its OK. Nothing to worry.
Repeat your T3, T4 and TSH level after 6 weeks. And plan accordingly.
