Does Flu Like Symptoms After Kissing Suggest Herpes?
Hi, I kissed a guy four nights ago at a big party and I've been getting flu-like symptoms but no sores on my lips. Do I have herpes? Or am I just having an anxiety attack (even though I've never suffered from one before). The back of my tongue has small bumps on it, the veins beneath my tongue are very prominent right now as well. I have a sore throat and had a headache and fever a few hours ago. I kissed the guy for about 3 seconds maximum. My period arrived at the right time and I'm not having any problems urinating or anything.
Hi you need not to worry much now i can understand your concern incubation period for herpes is from 5 to 12 days and you kissed a boy 4 days ago its less likely that you have herpes in my opinion you are having stomatitis ( inflammation/infection of oral cavity) you can start with folic acid 5 mg daily, local antiseptic and aesthetic cream to be applied on blisters and a course of antibiotics after consulting your doctor Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help wish you good health Dr BR Hudda"
