Does Fluttering In The Right Knee Along With Some Noticeable Veins Indicate DVT?

Hello, I have recently noticed a fluttering/pulsing/flickering in my right knee at the front to the left top side of my knee cap (when I look down on my right knee). The back of my knee is achy, I do have so noticeable veins. I m 30 years old and have only noticed this having been on a long flight. Could it be DVT? Thank you

Hi,

While long flight is a low risk for DVT but what you said is very unlikely to be DVT .pain is common after a long flight.

The most important sign of DVT is swelling in the whole limb. There may be oedema and pain in that limb.

If your one limb is swollen then the other, then it DVT may be considered but what you said is unlikely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
