Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I don t have a history of migraines but for past couple of years I have had increasingly severe headaches after red wine and occ. white, anything containing cheddar cheese and possibly other food sources. is there a standard list of things I should remove from my diet in trying to avoid these awful headaches. The one I have now started 2 days ago but they are usually the worst at night.
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your experience with severe headache following intake of red wine and also food substance containing ceeder cheese I am suggesting strongly that this is is due to release of vasoamines leading to Cerebral vascular dilatation with result into headache
In view of this please restrict intake of red wine and schedule an appointment with an nutritional specialist for further Councelling and nutritional guidelines
I hope this helps Regards
