Does Fucidin Cream Help Heal Scars Or Should I Use Pure Vitamin E Oil On It?

The cold sore scab came off early and now my bottom lip has a small fresh scar ( it's been less than 24 hours since I had it ) where the skin looks peeled off and looks purplish. Does fucidin cream help heal scars? or should I use pure vitamin E oil on it? or anything else you may suggest?

Hi

Since you have developed an erosion at the area of the cold sore infection, all you need to do is to keep the area clean and dry.
You should apply a topical antibiotic cream over the affected areas twice a day .
Try not to touch it too much since it may be infective still.
Do not apply any other cream or oil over it .

Hope it helps
