Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
2 weeks ago, I had severe abdominal pain, it was the 5 th time in 6 months. I went to the ER, had blood work, chest x-ray, EKG and ultra sound. All came back normal. I was given morphine through an iV for the pain. My family doc then ordered a HIDA scan, which also came back normal, thankfully. Could I have passed some gallstones?
Sir i understand your concern for your health condition. Yes definitely gall stone can cause severe abdominal pain. It is called as Cholecystitis. It can be without gall stone also called as acalculous cholecystitis. I would suggest you to consult your surgeon if you have pain repeatedly. Have healthy life ahead.
