Does Groin Injury Cause Erectile Dysfunction?

Hi, I m 26y.o. and for the past 8 years my erections haven t been as frequent or hard as they used to be, I got hit pretty hard with a basketball in my right testicle about 8 years ago, the pain ceased after a few hours, could that be related? Also, when having sex and about to have sex with my then girlfriend I would sometimes lose my erection. She gave me a hard time over it and I m wondering now if its psychological? I m strong and seem to be healthy. I think I have a small hernia in my groin area, would that play any role in my problems? Thanks in advance.

not likely but if there was nerve damage then it is possible. However, more common causes should be ruled out such as psychological,or vascular ones
