Does Having Sex Just Before Periods Cause Pregnancy?

I'm wondering if I could take a pregnancy test and how accurate it might be. My period ended not long ago and the day before it ended I had sex with my boyfriend. I had sex with him 4 days ago and my period ended 3 days ago. Since then I've been having worsening nausea and fatigue along with headaches and irritability. The sex was without a condom and I think I missed my birth control pill. Even though I had sex while on my period and it didn't end very long ago, would I still be able to take a pregnancy test with some accuracy or should I wait a few days before my next expected period like it says on the box?

Hi, thanks for asking from HCM

I can understand your concern. In a female with normal regular cycle ovulation occurs at around 14th day. The period of 4 days before and 4 days after ovulation is considered as unsafe for sex.

You had sex just one day before bleeding and it was in safe period. Bleeding after sex also rules out any chances of pregnancy. Please remain relaxed having sex just before periods never cause pregnancy.

Thanks, Take care.
