Stomach cancer presents in many ways.
The stomach ulcers are initiators of malignancy on many occasions.
Stomach ulcers causes
gastritis, pain in epigastric region, reflux,
bloating, pain after having food etc.
Initially ulcers are benign but with passage of time and continual insult the ulcers may turn malignant.
Ulcers can also occur in first part of
duodenum.
Stomach cancer also presents with constitutional symptoms like
weight loss, anemia, loss of appetite etc.
A family history of stomach cancer increases the risk of cancer.
