Hello and welcome to HCM,
Please mention the symptoms experienced by you.
Stomach cancer presents in many ways.
The stomach ulcers are initiators of malignancy on many occasions.
Stomach ulcers causes gastritis, pain in epigastric region, reflux, bloating, pain after having food etc.
Initially ulcers are benign but with passage of time and continual insult the ulcers may turn malignant.
Ulcers can also occur in first part of duodenum.
Stomach cancer also presents with constitutional symptoms like weight loss, anemia, loss of appetite etc.
A family history of stomach cancer increases the risk of cancer.
If you are experiencing any or all the above mentioned symptoms, please consult your gastroenterologist for clinical assessment, investigations and thus management.

Thanks and take care
