Does Having Unprotected Sex Cause HIV Infection?

I had sex w an escort and used a thin condom. I couldn t stay hard and she was very narrow. The top condom btoke, I noticed immediatley as I check it often, paranoid and concerned about hiv. Am I at risk. I wiped off and did not have sex and showered and urinated in shower.

Hello Dear. Relax. If your partner is healthy without HIV infection, then you have no chances of getting infection. If she has HIV then you are at risk. You need to get tested for HIV. There will be ELISA test which is done for HIV. You need to get it now, at 6 weeks and 6 months. If it is negative even at 6 months then you need not worry.

You can also go for costlier tests like P24 antigen test and PCR test which will tell immediately whether you have got infection or not.

Always have one faithful partner. Do not go for multiple partners.
