i have taken ultra sound scan . its about liver ? i am heavy drinker for the past 20 years. but now i am taking liquor weekly once. the test says maderately enlarged in size (18.1 cms) and shows diffuse increase in echo texture . intrahepatic biliary radicles and cbd appear normal. portal and hepatic veins appear normal

Based upon the history you have provided you have got alcoholic liver disease possibly alcoholic hepatitis... What about your liver function tests?? Serum albumin levels? Serum GGT and sgpt??? You should consult hepatologist regarding this so that you have been examined properly and relevant investigations can be done and appropriate treatment can be initiated timely...
