Does Height Increase After Surgical Removal Of Tonsil Stone?
hello doctor.... i am 24 years old boy and i have a stone in the tonsil since last 2 years but i dont have pain neither in stone nor in tonsils but it is recomended from my family doctor to remove it along with the tonsil by surgery so after surgery is it possible to increase my height?
As per your complain Tonsil stones are formed due to accumulation of dirt and food debris over the tonsils and they get calcified leading to formation of small calcified masses known as Tonsil stones.. They are responsible for recurring tonsil inflammation and bad breath.. If they are not causing any problems then you need not to worry about it as they are otherwise not harmful.. You can however start gargling with 1:1 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water.. Always gargle after eating anything.. Tonsillectomy is not needed as of now if you do not have any problems.. Secondly as you are 24 years of age, and growth in height and other milestones is completed by now, therefore height will not increase considerably now and also Tonsillectomy has no hindrance in height increase..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
