Does High BP Cause Itching In The Palms And Feet?

Hello Doctor, Could high blood pressure, for two years, 230/170 in a 70 year old male, cause itching palms and feet? He shows no outward sign of a rash, etc. Itch is so bad in palms he has an indentation in his palm where he hold his finger tight to it. He is also an alcoholic who can not find the support from VA that he needs for his PTSD. Thank you, Patricia, his best friend
