Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
took my BP after I just walked back to the chair was 180/83 and 182/ 80. I waited about 5 min then it went to 164/79. When I get up it seems to be higher. I have a mild headache and a small chest pain that comes and goes. I want to visit the doctor. Is this something I can wait on until the morning?
Hello Welcome here. 180/80 is considerably high systolic blood pressure. This is most probably causing headache and chest pain. In my opinion, you should visit a doctor now and should not wait for morning. Get an ECG done to know the cardiac status.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
