Does High Blood Pressure Cause Recurrent UTI?

Hi...could high blood pressure have anything to do with causing three UTI infections over the last three months ???? Strange question and so appreciate your listening ! Have been on four prescriptions and now Dr. wants to check BP today/tomorrow and report back on Wednesday???

Thanks for asking.
Mostly recurrent kidney infection (pyelinephritis) causes high blood pressure.&it goes on worstening with each attack of kidney infection.
So in your case doctor wants to assess how much the infections had affected your blood pressure.Cukture &sensitivity test of urine followrd by sufficient course of effective antibiotic ..so as to help in management of bloid pressure is usual strategy of uti infections &their complications.
