Does Higher Weed Tolerance Affect The Efficacy Of Anesthesia?

Hi, my dentist said that a higher weed tolerance could make IV sedation less successful, and difficult to remove my wisdom teeth, is this true? If my tolerance isn t high will it still be a problem? Will I really not fall asleep completely? I smoke due to my anxiety and insomnia, and since regular insomnia medication does not work for me I was wondering how effective IV sedation was. How soon exactly should I not smoke before? 24-48 hours or more? I know of the possible harms of marijuana, so if you can, and still be in your right conscious, I d really appreciate just answering this question.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history of taking some narcotic drug and now it is the time to have sedation for some surgical procedure then it may interfere with sedation or may not be depends upon the level of drugs present in system hope this information helps.
