I have been diagnosed with AVN , it is at that point where I have pain 24 hours a day. I have walked with a limp since an ATV accident last summer. Now some days I can not walk. I want to know if a hip replacement can be done by minimally invasive surgery. I have went through a year of steroid injections, anti inflammatory medication. I am a full time nurse so I can unstand Medical . I need a great surgeon, I can no longer take this pain

Hi,

We cannot do a hip replacement with the minimally invasive techniques.

You can consult an orthopedician and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
