Does Hypothyroidism Cause Marijuana To Stay Longer In The Body?

I took a drug (urine) test last Friday and I told the doctor I would test positive for marijuana. Now I have to take another drug test this friday to see if my levels of marijuana have gone down. I have hypothyroidism. Will this cause the marijuana levels to take longer to get out of my system. Thanks April

When you have hypothyroidism, your thyroid gland doesn't make enough of the hormone, and your metabolisms lows down. A slower metabolism can make it hard to clean the body from elements so they can stay longer.
