Implanon may cause sleep issues and anxiety. Many women also experience mood swings, feeling of tiredness, severe headache, inadequate sleep may cause nightmares. You are suggested to take adequate rest, stay well hydrated and get clinically examined by your gynecologist. You may need anti depressants or multivitamin medicines to get better.
Once the body gets adjusted to the hormonal changes after the insertion of implanon these symptoms go away. However, if you are in much discomfort you can get it removed by your treating doctor and take some other contraceptive device.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
