Does Increased Gabapentin Dosage Help To Alleviate Numbness And Tingling Sensation?

have ddd,scoliosis, etc. removal of c3 disk 8/201d0. am currently severly affected numbness and extreme tingling almost like an electric shock. tmp. relieif was attained w/ temp use of prednisone. am now taking an nsaid((diclofenac 75mg twice daily With no effect. will gabapentin which I am now on an increasing dosage to 1800mg daily offer any hope off symptom relief. which leaves only more surgery(doubtful!)

Pain relief medications in your case will give only temporary benefits. Whether it is NSAIDS or Gabapentin like neurological pain medications.

As you have already undergone surgery for scoliosis, option left for you is Corticosteroids shots in vertebral joints along with physiotherapy exercise.

In addition to that you can also start vitamin D3 capsules and Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamine) injections as per physician’s advice.
