Does Ingestion Of Gentian Violet By An Infant Cause Any Side Effects?

Hello I used the gentian violet for the first time tonight in my infant mouth and I used a q-tip to apply it, but I feel like she still may have swallowed just a little if any. Is this something I need to be panicked about. Also she is only 2 months.
