Does Intake Of Candesartan Cilexetil Reduce The Likelihood Of Migraines?

My doctor changed my high blood pressure medication from Avdapro to Candesartan Cilexetil. This new med supposedly also reduces the likelihood of migraines. Is this true? Would a Beta Blocker or Calcium Channel Blocker be more effective for migraines? YYYY@YYYY

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Candersatan cilexitil does not prevent migraine and has nothing to do with migraine. Your doctor might have change to Candersatan based on your blood pressure.
Beta blockers and calcium channel blockers can be used for treating Migraines.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
