Does Intake Of Celexa Affect The Result Of Pregnancy Test?

Hi, I was tested positive for my pregnancy test. I forgot to tell my doctor that i was taking my prescribed medication celexa. I take the generic form hydorxzyine and was wondering, if taking that medicine can give you a positive/negative for pregnancy.

Nothing can give a positive result for pregnancy other than the hCG itself, so the answer to your query would be a no. As all pregnancy tests look for hCG in the blood and urine, which is elevated during pregnancy.
