Does Intake Of Eldoper Help In Treating Diarrhea?

I am having loose watery motion from 4am today. I took 2 capsules of Eldoper at 10 am . The frequency and quantity though has come down, I continue to have loose watery motion. Can I continue with Eldoper every 8 hours 2 capsules at a time? My email is ramaswamiravi @gmail.com

Hi,

Eldoper is only for symptomatic relief. Means you have to get the underlying pathology diagnosed for proper treatment.

In infectious pathology, means if the diarrhea is due to infection of the GI tract, this tablet can do more harm than benefit.

So, I recommend you to go to the nearby clinic to diagnose the etiology and if necessary, stool test to get the antibiotic course prescribed.

With diarrhea, there is lot of nutrients loss that you should replenish with ORS. Please read the instructions carefully for the preparation of ORS on the packet.

Also, take probiotics like Lactobacillus to restore the natural flora of intestine that helps in symptom relief. Get your BP checked and to check for any signs of dehydration.

Take plenty of fluids like ORS, fresh coconut water and eat ripe bananas.
