Does Intake Of Lovan Cause Heaviness In Head?

Hi Doc, I have been experiencing sligh heaviness in my head for quite some time now. This started after my physician advised me to take 10 mg Lovan on daily basis treat my anxiety disorder. Do you think this heaviness in head is a side effect of Lovan?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Lovan contains fluoxetine. Fluoxetine is an SSRI and is used to treat major depressive disorder. Common side effects of Lovan include insomnia, strange dreams, headache, dizziness, vision changes, tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, weakness, yawning, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, sweating, changes in weight or appetite, stuffy nose, sinus pain, sore throat, flu symptoms, decreased sex drive, or difficulty having an orgasm etc.
So heaviness in head is most probably due to Lovan.
Advice
1.     Take Lovan 10 mg in the morning. Do not take it at bed time as it causes insomnia
2.     Clonazepam 0.25 mg at bed time for 1 month
3.     Sleep at least 8 hours
4.     Avoid smoking and alcohol
5.     Start workout in gym at least half an hour in a day for 5 days in a week
6.     Do meditation
7.     Share your problem with your family and close friends
8.     Consult a psychiatrist for follow up and counseling
Thanks
