Does Intake Of Minocycline Help In Treating Rheumatoid Arthritis?

My RA specialist has prescribed an antibiotic type med, miniocycline . I ve been on several meds over the years but this is new. Can t find any good information regarding treating RA with an antibiotic and the pharmacist seemed puzzled also. I m not complaining because it does seem to be working as I ve had no flare-up in 4+ months. Thanks!
