Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Polycyctic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a problem associated with hormonal imbalance, which causes problems with your periods and ovulation, and hence makes it difficult to become pregnant pregnant.
The condition cannot be cured, but controlling it lowers your risks of
infertility, miscarriages and associated disorders like diabetes,
heart disease, and
uterine cancer.
The following things needs to be addressed to so as to improve the chances of conception.
1. If you are
overweight,
weight loss is required with regular exercise and diet.
2. Regulate your menstrual cycle by use of combined birth control pills.
3. Help you ovulate by use of drugs like clomiphene citrate and metformin.
Most of the times, this would work and improve the chances of conception.
It may take a little longer for the response to happen and hence you need to have patience and do regular follow-up.
If weight loss and medicine don't restart ovulation, you may want to try other treatments.
Ova mit is prescribed for you as it contains clomiphene citrate and helps in ovulation process. Kindly follow the treatment as advised.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
