Does Intake Of Ovashield And Ovacare Help In Conception?

Hi Doctor, I am 24 years old and last year I had cystectomy surgery. My marital life is 3 years, from past 6 months we are trying to conceive but it is not happening. My gynaecologist suggested to take ovashield and ovacare myo. Will they be helpful for getting pregnant. My height is 5 7 and weight 74kg

I can understand your concern.
1. Ovacare is a nutritional supplement which contains multivitamins & minerals and helps in normal ovarian function and menstrual cycle.
2. Ovaa shield contains the salts Acetylcysteine, Astaxanthin & Clomifene as active ingredients.
Clomifene acts by stimulating the ovaries to produce egg follicles. It helps in inducing ovulation and thus aids in fertility. N Acetylcysteine and Astaxanthin are powerful antioxidant & food supplements help to form healthy ovum & its development.
If you have been trying for more than 6 months, you should be evaluated by a gynaecologist fully to know the cause, it could be tubal, womb, ovarian, cervical or male factor.

In my opinion the infertility needs to be evaluated for both the partners. Your partner semen analysis also need to be done. If both the partners are normal then it might be the case of unexplained infertility.

Practice regular intercourse.
Avoid stress & anxiety related to pregnancy as they might delay conception.
There are many methods in the treatment of infertility.
