Does Intake Of Postinor Cause Mild And Light Periods?
I had my periods on November 18th. On December 6th I had intercourse but the condom leaked out so I took Prostinor2 within 12 hours. My period was due on Dec 16th. I started mild bleeding on that day which is very light. Usually I'm a heavy bleeder. Could this mean I'm pregnant? Is this my normal period or implantation or withdrawal bleeding?

Light bleeding or spotting you had must be breakthrough bleeding due to intake of a emergency contraceptive pill such as postinor. The bleeding is different than your period, It is lighter in colour & quantity and last for less time period, as compared to a normal menstrual period. This type of bleeding occur normally with in 3 weeks of the pill intake. This is normal feature of pill & there is nothing to be worried about. You could also have your period delayed.
Emergency pill like postinor is 95% effective if taken within 24 hours. As you have taken postinor pill within 12 hours you should not worry as pregnancy chance in you is very less.
Use condom or regular contraceptive pill as method of conception in future. Taking more emergency contraceptive pills can cause problems like irregular periods, ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome & even infertility.
