Does Intake Of Primidone Help In Treating Chronic Tremor Issues?

Hi. My dad is 91 and his been suffering with essential tremor for many years. A friend told me about Primidone and what a difference it has made in her 85 year old father. Before I contact my dads doctor I thought I would see if you felt it was worth a try . He is in good health except for a bad back. Takes a med for cholesterol but that is all. Thank you

in todays era when other safer alternatives are available, primidone is not a first choice for essential tremor, because it has many side effects in particularly sedation which is troublesome in old age person.
you can ask your dads doctor for evaluation of your dad that he is suffering from essential tremor or some other movement disorder.
