Does Intake Of Primolut N Followed By Unprotected Sex Delay Periods?

Hi, I am 32 yr old. Two days back I had primolute n 5 mg before Friday. On Friday I took two tablets and then had unprotected sex with my bf. I was supposed to get periods...but I delayed it by taking tablets. Now I still haven t got my periods...does that mean I am pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Usually, you should have your periods 2-5 days after stoppage of Primolut-N tablet. Therefore, if you are not having your periods within one week, after stoppage of Primolut-N tablet, then you are advised to go for a pregnancy test to confirm/rule out presence of pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
